Ola Maslik

is a New York City–based Production Designer born and raised in Lublin, Poland. She lives in New York with her husband and their five-year-old daughter, Zosia. With a rich background spanning theater, graphic design, and puppetry, Maslik brings a deeply narrative and visually layered approach to production design.

Originally trained as a graphic designer and art printer, she earned her first MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where she also studied puppetry at the Studio for Puppet Theatre Actors. While in New York exhibiting her puppetry work at the NYC Independent Film Festival, she was accepted into an internship with renowned theater director Richard Foreman at the Ontological-Hysteric Theater. Following the internship, Foreman recommended her to the Yale School of Drama, where she studied under Ming Cho Lee and received her second MFA in Set Design in 2006.

Ola began her career in theater, where her distinctive ability to marry a profound understanding of story with both macro- and micro-level design quickly set her apart. Her production design credits include Gossip Girl (HBO Max Original Series), In the Blink of an Eye (Searchlight, directed by Andrew Stanton), Devil in Silver (created by Chris Cantwell), and Disinherited (created by Peter Gould for FX). In addition to her professional work, she occasionally serves as an Associate Professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she teaches the art and craft of Production Design.
